To report a profile or message, click on the three dots (⋮) then select 'Report'. Our moderation team reviews every report.
Even with good habits, a situation can go wrong. Here is how to react in each case, without waiting and without blaming yourself: everyone's safety matters more than where a conversation goes.
Send nothing, whatever the reason: plane ticket, medical costs, customs fees or an investment. Report the profile from the conversation and block the person. If you have already paid, alert your bank as soon as possible, then file a complaint with the police. You can also forward a suspicious message to suspicious@safeonweb.be.
Leave without justifying yourself and go somewhere busy. Let the person you told about the date know. In immediate danger, call 112; for a situation that is not urgent, the police answer on 101. Then report the profile on Koeur24.
